Terms of engagement and website use

Terms governing System Compiler Grid mortgage affordability audit enquiries, engagements and website use in South Africa.

Effective 15 August 2026

Acceptance and scope

By using this website you accept these terms. A professional engagement begins only when you accept a separate written scope and fee. Website information is general and is not a loan offer, lender approval, legal advice, tax advice or regulated recommendation to enter a financial product.

Client responsibilities

You must provide accurate, complete information and have authority to share all records supplied. Findings depend on the material and assumptions stated in the report. You remain responsible for borrowing and property decisions and should obtain legal, tax or financial-product advice where appropriate.

Fees, cancellation and delivery

Fees and timing are confirmed in writing. Delivery periods begin when required documents and any deposit have been received. Cancellation, rescheduling and refund rules are set out in our refund policy.

Intellectual property

Website copy, visual design and our audit formats belong to System Compiler Grid. You may retain and share your completed report for personal application purposes, but may not sell, alter for misrepresentation or reproduce our methods commercially.

Liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for a lender decision, interest-rate movement, property defect, transaction delay or loss resulting from incomplete information. Liability arising directly from a paid engagement is limited to the fee paid for that engagement, except where limitation is prohibited by law.

Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access or submit unlawful material. Third-party links are provided for context and do not imply endorsement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts with jurisdiction in Gauteng will hear disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer forum or process.
