Our audit process

A measured path from documents to a borrowing range

How System Compiler Grid scopes, examines and reports a South African mortgage application affordability audit.

1. A conversation before documents

The first call establishes who is applying, the target property, application timing and the question you need answered. We explain whether a full audit or focused review fits. Sensitive documents are not requested through the enquiry form.

2. Written scope and secure collection

You receive the fee, expected delivery, exclusions and an exact evidence list. Typical material includes payslips, relevant statement periods, current credit instalments and a household budget. You decide whether to proceed before work begins.

3. Reconciliation with context

Income and committed expenditure are checked across the agreed period. Ambiguous transactions become questions, not assumptions. Annual obligations are converted to monthly allowances and variable earnings are treated separately from stable income.

4. Property and repayment scenarios

The proposed bond is examined beside rates, levies, cover, maintenance and property-linked transport changes. Repayments are tested at the base assumption and at higher rates to reveal the monthly margin.

5. A report that shows its reasoning

Findings state the comfortable range, caution points, assumptions and matters outside scope. A call follows so factual corrections can be made and the implications understood.

Confidential handling

Access is limited to the people named in your scope. Working copies follow documented retention periods and are then securely deleted. The report belongs to you; sharing it with an originator, lender or adviser is your choice.
